We know that no two people are the same, that’s why we proudly tailor every cake experience to your individual needs so you feel comfortable and confident working with us.

What’s so unique about our cakes? Quality, quality, quality. We got sick of seeing the same old box-mix cakes in the market, so we saw an opportunity for premium quality cakes with flavours unlike anything else you’ve tasted. As we always say, our cakes are not too sweet because we believe real ingredients speak for themselves. We use fine grade ingredients sourced from all over the world (such as authentic Japanese matcha) and whip up everything in-house. 

Larisa’s Story

My story starts at an office desk in a corporate finance firm. After completing a Master of Commerce and 4 long years sitting stagnant in an office chair, a gut feeling told me I should be pursuing something I truly love doing — even if it meant leaving my stable job behind. I began baking cakes for close friends and family and found joy in seeing their faces light up upon enjoying the cakes. This is when I realised that baking was my calling. Shortly after, I enrolled in a Fine Arts degree and got to work.

I taught myself how to bake bigger and better cakes, and experimented with countless ingredients and flavours to finally nail our tried-and-true recipes which we use today. My economics background provided the backbone of sustaining a well-oiled businesses, while my ongoing fine arts study teaches me new techniques to apply to my cakes. I believe there is no limit to art and am not held back by traditional “rules”. It’s taken me years to perfect my craft and I’m delighted to say that our cakes are truly my proudest creations.

I’m incredibly blessed to be doing what I love every single day and baking for Sydney-siders’ special occasions. I’m ecstatic for you to join our growing family by experiencing our cakes. Can’t wait to bake for you!

    FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

    The mastermind behind it all. In 2017, Larisa left her corporate 9-5 and started Tell Cake Boutique to pursue her calling to bake. Now studying fine art, she brings cakes to life using her refined skills and nimble hands. She’s no amateur to hard work nor creativity; she makes being a girl boss look easy!

    As a professionally trained Le Cordon Bleu baker, Bella is an absolute machine when it comes to baking all of your cakes. We’re surprised her name isn’t a synonym for “efficient” in the dictionary. Can we just say, she GETS. IT. DONE. Seriously, is she even human?

    Give her a keyboard and a mouse and she’ll make magic; Marion whips up all of our creative content and seamlessly handles essentially everything online! Hobbies include writing emails, adding colour wherever she can, and texting customers back like her life depends on it.
